Things Indy Has Eaten

Our neighbor Ellee's plastic princess slipper
Countless tissues and q-tips
At least three rope toys
Over two dozen bully sticks
Four gigantic bags of dog food
Three of our wedding towels
Two of my tank tops
MJC's bluetooth wireless headset
MJC's iPod headphones
My laptop cord
A whole in at least two of MJC's shirts
One of MJC's socks
My favorite leather ballet flats
My glasses
His own dog bed, not an hour after it came home from Target
His other dog bed (which was being replaced by the one we got at Target)
Two stuffed ducks that make quacking sounds
The blanket mom knitted us
What must add up to four pounds of swiss cheese
Every plate left unattended at our housewarming party
Just the littlest bit of my mother-in-laws cheek

Sarah suggested you get a big (non-edible) basket, fill it with approved dog toys, and leave it right where he is. Laura did that for her dog Gerda, and Lisa actually taught Gerda to pick up her toys and put them back in the basket. But then Gerda's basket was a drawer, with a knob she could grab with her teeth and open. No kidding, I saw her do it. Not sure she could close the drawer again, but one can dream. And Gerda was a very smart, tractable, dog.
